Radiohead “Unravel {Pocket Mix}”

For this, I took the webstream of Thom playing this Bjork cover on piano and added a bunch of instrumentation (including a guest appearance by Bjork herself.)

Not surprisingly, (given that this was Radiohead), this remix got a lot of attention and was nominated in the Village Voice Pazz and Jop poll.

pitchfork said “Jankovich lets droning tendrils of noise poke into all that space, setting a thumping beat beneath. He chops up Yorke’s vocal in other places, eventually adding squishy synths, and then introduces Radiohead to Björk herself.”

stereogum said “We’ve always been fans, but this is the deepest Pocket’s gone yet. Outstanding.”
